Refund Policy

At Sam’s Marine, we are committed to providing high-quality marine services. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued and the procedures for requesting them.

Applicability

This policy applies to all services booked through www.samsmarine.ca or directly with Sam’s Marine, including inspections, maintenance, repairs, and other related services.

Payment and Deposits

  • Deposits may be required to confirm service bookings.

  • Deposits are generally non-refundable, except where services are cancelled by Sam’s Marine.

  • Full payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Refunds for Services

  • Refunds will be considered under the following conditions:

    • If Sam’s Marine cancels a booked service, you are entitled to a full refund of any deposit or prepayment.

    • If a service is not performed to the terms agreed (e.g., documented errors or omissions), a partial or full refund may be issued at our discretion.

  • Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing within 2 business days of service completion.

Non-Refundable Circumstances

  • Refunds are not available in the following cases:

  • Customer-initiated cancellations with insufficient notice (less than 36 hours).

  • Dissatisfaction due to factors outside the control of Sam’s Marine, including weather delays, pre-existing vessel conditions, or undisclosed issues.

  • Services that were completed as agreed and accepted by the customer.

Processing Refunds

  • Refunds, when approved, will be issued using the original payment method unless otherwise arranged.

  • Refunds may take up to 10 business days to process.

  • Sam’s Marine reserves the right to deduct any applicable administrative fees or costs incurred related to the service.
